I did CQ and staff duty before I left within week I was leaving Germany. Didn't matter to me though.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 15 at 2016 3:04 AM2016-06-15T03:04:31-04:002016-06-15T03:04:31-04:001SG Christopher Verga1630651<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is no Department of the Army regulation that covers that. As long as you are on the Army roster and the 1SG puts you on the DA 6, then you do your turn or pay someone to take your place.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 15 at 2016 9:41 AM2016-06-15T09:41:00-04:002016-06-15T09:41:00-04:00SSG Thomas Gallegos1631118<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Follow me here. No regulation I knew of other than a DA-6 unless changed, regs wouldn't cover who had duty. <br /> Now it would be smart of any unit to use a SM ETSing to fill duty slots. It can be worked out to have time to clear post. We all know it doesn't take that long if you have your stuff together especially the gear being returned to CIF. <br /> Why use an SM needed for other tasks, especially getting prepped for FTX on duty? Just my thoughts.Response by SSG Thomas Gallegos made Jun 15 at 2016 10:02 AM2016-06-15T10:02:28-04:002016-06-15T10:02:28-04:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member1632048<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No, most of the time 1SGs will take Soldiers off of the duty roster if they are 30 days out from PCSing, ETSing or retiring.Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 15 at 2016 1:54 PM2016-06-15T13:54:47-04:002016-06-15T13:54:47-04:00TSgt Private RallyPoint Member1632118<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That is like asking if you put your 2 week notice in to a commercial company and expect them to not give you any weekend or midnight shifts.Response by TSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 15 at 2016 2:09 PM2016-06-15T14:09:32-04:002016-06-15T14:09:32-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member1632401<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>To whomever this is directed, Suck it up buttercup!
