I did CQ and staff duty before I left within week I was leaving Germany. Didn't matter to me though. As long as you are on the Army roster and the 1SG puts you on the DA 6, then you do your turn or pay someone to take your place. It can be worked out to have time to clear post. We all know it doesn't take that long if you have your stuff together especially the gear being returned to CIF. <br /> Why use an SM needed for other tasks,especially getting prepped for FTX on duty?
