Is there another way to correct wrongly charged leave other than pay inquiry?

I had a DA31 approved with a control number, but never actually took the leave. I was charged the leave nevertheless. Pay inquiry was submitted promptly, but I haven't seen a correction on LES for 3 months.

They were still trying to charge me leave over a year after a leave form was approved but leave was not taken. It was quite the fight. I wish you success in getting your issue sorted out.

I had a similar issue a few years back. Basically do a memorandum for record, signed by the commander stating what you just stated and your good.

It helps if you support the statement with the daily PERSTAT that your orderly room sends up showing you did not in fact take the leave.

NO, pay has to be handled by Finance. Check with your PAC/S1 again.
