Is there any 88N national guardsmen out there that can give me some insight on the MOS? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-any-88n-national-guardsmen-out-there-that-can-give-me-some-insight-on-the-mos <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> Wed, 25 Jul 2018 16:47:42 -0400 Is there any 88N national guardsmen out there that can give me some insight on the MOS? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-any-88n-national-guardsmen-out-there-that-can-give-me-some-insight-on-the-mos <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 25 Jul 2018 16:47:42 -0400 2018-07-25T16:47:42-04:00 Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 26 at 2018 12:05 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-there-any-88n-national-guardsmen-out-there-that-can-give-me-some-insight-on-the-mos?n=3827361&urlhash=3827361 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m in the reserves and all I can say is be prepared to be busy. For career progression, try to get into as many related schools as possible (UMODP, DOA HAZMAT, Certified Container Officer, &amp; TC AIMS II Functional Users Course). You&#39;ll get some TC AIMS II training when you go to ALC and JOPES training, but the TC AIMS II Functional Users Course you can take and will be a little more in depth outside of ALC. Expect to possibly be an Unit Movement Officer (UMO) at some point as an alternate at least. I can&#39;t tell you how important it is to be knowledgeable in TC AIMS II. It&#39;s a system that virtually everything you need to do as far as the coordinating of unit moves is done in or is expected to be done in by Big Army.
