Has there been any compensation for the active duty soldiers (period) who were stationed there for years, more specifically for women who&#39;ve since had to have hysterectomies? Thanks! Is there any compensation, because of the chemicals, for active duty members who were stationed at Fort McClellan/Anniston, AL? 2020-06-30T15:42:30-04:00 1SG Brenda Hauser 6058348 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been told that some in the civilian community in Anniston, AL (Fort McClellan) have been compensated for exposure to the chemicals stored by the military. McClellan AL. I trained there and was exposed also. I have proof of it with my certificates and Graduation Photo. The Government is treating this like they did with Agent Orange! They want everyone to die first, which lowers the number of people they have to pay compensation to!! Sucks! But this is all we can expect from the Government. Still see your Doctors for the Symptoms!!! It is also for Documentation when and if the Government lets us get disability payments. The suite was settled and closed—about 5 years after I sold my house there. Never heard a word until I saw the website above.<br />There was a bill before Congress a couple of years ago that would have given McClellan the similar status of Camp Lejeune. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d26horl2n8pviu.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/530/606/qrc/logo2.png?1593548565"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="http://www.poisonedveterans.org/?p=178">Fort McClellan – ‘the most toxic place on the planet’ | Poisoned Veterans</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">Poisoned Veterans provides veterans who served at Fort McClellan and other toxic military bases with legislation and research efforts at no cost to the veteran.</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by COL R.
