Is there any guidance on if you can wear coyote gear (plate carrier etc.) with OCP?

Units have SOP's about gear, your PSG should be your go to guy/gal about these things, he/she is your guide so you don't get eaten alive by higher. That is unless of course your marked for practical jokes, magical journeys for obscure items and plain old hazing. I just love butter bars :)

Sorry sir can’t give an answer on this,but must say you young guys have some cool sounding stuff,coyote gear,OCP as opposed to ancient times,jungle fatigues,flak jackets ( never wore the latter for some reason my unit didn’t issue them,probably thought they didn’t go well with that damn rucksack) coyote gear,OCP now that’s cool!

That is at the discretion of the unit commander and should be addressed in the squadron or battalion SOP.
