My wife still lives in Hawaii while I’m in fort Benning, shouldn’t I be receiving BAH in my checks? To help you with that you will need your orders. They should say you have dependents and where they are staying while you are in basis and AIT. If it does than talk to your DS and bring proof that you are not getting it, your previous months LES. They should be able to take it where your finance is and get you your BAH and however many months you have missed. Let your NCO know that you are not being paid properly. I believe that time requirement was 6 months, but definitely get anything you hear on here run past your leadership and more importantly finance and the S1. BAH is to provide housing for your dependents. It should be in her check.
