When you follow the diet, you lose A LOT of water weight very quickly, followed by Fat at a slower rate.

You can also do Plant Based (Fuhrburger), which has different benefits and different timelines. I wanted to lose about 10 pounds, adjust my overall energy level and improve my overall shape. What it has allowed me to do, and what has become blaringly apparent was identify ignorance. The program attached to it allows me to not only track exercise and zones of effort. It allowed me to track my intake of calories and macro-nutrients. The added benefit was it tracking my sleep cycles.
My point being, I didn't know just what I was doing. My simple approach has now adjusted by a lower carb diet, more protein and veggies and increased and regular physical activity. The numbers are in front of me daily, and serves as a reminder of what I need to do and a guide to adjust behavior over time. As others have said. Fast is NOT the answer. Consistent and smart are.
in a month of this diet/activity I have lost 5 pounds and become much smarter about my abilities, intake and choices. take your time and learn. I went to a doctor who "specialized" in weight loss. I lost 50 pounds in just three months taking a couple of "mystery" pills. Well, it worked and the doctor went to jail. I'd never do that again. I use MyFitnessPal.com to keep an accurate diary of everything I eat as well as my exercise. It's easy (there's a phone app) and free, and it works for everyone who is serious about getting in shape and keeping in shape.
