Is there anyway or anyone my husband or can contact outside his unit about pushing this Command Sponsorship?
First off I understand they can take a little bit to pass through but we have been having issues after issues about his unit not doing their job with this piece of paper work.
It has been well over a couple of months with part of that time it sitting on someones desk in which they "forgot" about it. He has used the open door policy with this issue as well as trying to find out what is going on. No one can seem to give him an answer nor can anyone tell him what is going on or how long before it is ready.
These cont issues are causing quite some tension between myself and my husband, him being over there & myself not being able to do anything.
I am just hoping for a hopeful helpful answer of if there is anything we can do.

Command Sponsorship is an easy process that includes some requirements. Your husband has easy access to these requirements. I am not implying that he is not trying, I am implying that you should tell him to go to the S1 and ask for the requirements. If he feels that someone is not supporting his request he needs to speak to his COC, who support their Soldiers. There are requirements on your end as well, the primary being wellness, Command Sponsorship requires family medical ensuring that the duty stations facilities can support any Familial issues. Have him speak directly to unit leadership. Good luck.
