Is there anyway to get an early release to National Guard from active duty Army?

Is there anyway to get an early release to national guard from Active Duty ?I have 6 months left on my contract and I'm trying to switch over. Reason being is I'm also trying to attend the Fall semester at a college. I have tried doing the Early release for furthering education and it isn't going to get approved. Any help with be appreciated !
