Is there such thing as a PFC(P)?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Someone viewed my profile yesterday, and identified himself as a PFC (P). I thought the (P) designator was only used for those who had been selected for promotion by some type of board. Does the designator apply to administrative promotions (E2-E4)?Wed, 11 Jun 2014 07:50:21 -0400Is there such thing as a PFC(P)?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SFC Warrick is correct, the regulation term is advancement. I feels good to say promoted, but I have never seen nor heard of PFC (P). It's probably a SOldier who was told he is going to be promoted next month so he thinks he is "promotable". It's good for a laugh though!1SG Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 11 Jun 2014 09:14:33 -04002014-06-11T09:14:33-04:00Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 11 at 2014 9:55 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well, it all depends on how its viewed, a PFC is will be eligible for promotion after a given time in service, so by alrights they are an appointment, but they can carry a promotable status (P) do to a number of variables at the discretion of the units command, the PFC will never really know they are carrying the eligibility, unless it's mentioned in a counseling session.SFC Tracy ScottThu, 25 Apr 2019 15:10:34 -04002019-04-25T15:10:34-04:00Response by LCpl Michael Harvey made Apr 27 at 2019 6:26 AM
