Where are prospective students at UTI getting the impression that their student loans will be paid off?

"TRIP is a big selling point for Admissions. It's the argument their sells people (aka admissions reps) have to counter families who are afraid to sign up because of the loans. Often times I met with students who were under the impression that it's perfectly fine for them to get loans because their employer would pay them off later."

Yes, schools like UTI and MMI tell their prospective students that most companies have tuition reimbursement programs that will pay off their student loans. This is technically true as many companies do offer tuition reimbursement programs. However they make it seem like a guarantee instead of something you have to apply for and pray you get chosen.

Some employers do this, and it can often be negotiated in a tight labor market. But it is never a given.
