This scenario is not impossible but highly unlikely due to the economic interdependence we have with them.

A shooting war ... no. But, as a discussion I posted earlier today alluded to, I think we are heading toward a "cold war" scenario not unlike what we had with the U.S.S.R.

If a war were to become of all this it would be more likely a "COLD WAR" scenario. Shooting war is highly doubtful.

No, China has too much at stake in terms of economic development to throw it into the wind by going to war. I heard the new prime minister is trying to cut down on corruption and maybe better relationship with America.

I doubt it.. corporations wouldn't see any margin in that kind of trade interruption ..no worries
But the left would see PR value...those are the ones to keep a weather eye on.
