Is your Unit Commander encouraging use of RallyPoint?

Just wondering if you are being encouraged to use RP to connect to fellow service members or get ideas beneficial to your unit.

Interesting question SSG Izzy Abbass. I'm interested in seeing if/how the military is leveraging the collective knowledge that RP has.

I've mentioned it to my Soldiers, but it doesn't seem to be all that well known at the moment..

There are not many users in my unit really. I encourage what soldiers I can to use but only a few have taken me up on it. Most soldiers just want to use social media for other things than professional development.

My Company and Battalion Commanders are not on RP. I encourage all of my Soldiers to create a profile and get involved, but not many actually do
