The trick with this is: they are using sympathetic Muslims with similar extremist views to form a very loose and hard to trace network. All it takes is one person to heed this call who has never even spoken with someone within the network for this to happen. Many just need to take action on the call. This is a major difference between them and sleeper cells of other groups.

Basically, all we can do is be vigilant and hope that we catch anyone before harm befalls one of our brothers and sisters.

They are going after the wrong targets. Military personnel and families are harder targets because we generally understand what increased risk means, and generally are very well armed in our own rights. And the last thing you want to do is attack a soldier's family and make the fight personal.....because at that point there will be NO mercy. A softer target would be the folks livining in the delusion of a security bubble and have their heads in the sand.

Well if they're coming thru the southern border of Arizona, these terrorists are going to meet up with a lot of fed up ranchers, Az militia wannabees, and and slew of other gun-totting Arizonans that aren't going to sit still with this, should it come to our borders and cities.

Fellow Veterans, Stop Letting ISIS Win

I’ve been getting pinged right and left the last couple of days by well-meaning people who are apparently deeply concerned for my safety. It seems that ISIS, the terrorist group infamous for murdering unarmed American civilians and putting the worthless Iraqi Army to flight, is calling for “lone wolf” attacks against US service members here in the good ol’ USA. And apparently we’re supposed to be scared about that.

In 1996 the XO of my Unit (Before I was there) was shot and killed at point blank range by a disgruntled Sgt who had ties to Mexican Gangs. At the time they were receiving reports of these gangs throwing out the call to cause harm to Marines aboard Camp Pendleton. The thing is that the call to arm causes a lot of fear without usually finding a lot of followers as was proven when no more real incidents connected to this event; as was considered a possibility. I am not saying not be vigilant, but try not allow fear to consume you. We have been at war with organizations that have made similar calls to arms before, but it's harder to find people who actually are ready to die for your hollow cause then it is to make the call to arms.

Anyone who goes after military personnel either on or near a military installation is in for a very bad day. But stupidity is winning or we wouldn't be talking about this.
