Learn your D&C steps in regards to marching and In Ranks Inspections. Learn to read an OPORD. Know your PRT commands. Know how to read a map.

Start working on your D&C as well as conducting PRT and learning the Creed of the Noncommissioned Officer.

Make sure follow the schoolhouse’s packing list and bring at least 10 sets of orders or DA 1610s.

SGT Private RallyPoint Member D&C, PRT, Army Writing knowledge helps, complete packing list, and make sure all your paperwork was fully submitted prior to shipping. I would also suggest that you take a copy of every thing (printed) with you for your packet. If you are missing something they will bounce you back if you can not correct it quickly. Also, not sure if your class is the online or in person - but Land Nav has been brought back to some schoolhouses. You will also be subject to ht/wt check and will need to have a passing PT Test results (if after 01OCT20200 it will have to be an ACFT, prior to that date APFT) Nest of luck. The course is designed for you to gain knowledge and understanding of basic Army leadership and how to work in a team and manage a team of professionals. Enjoy it!!

Pay attention to your instructor. Go there to learn how to become a good leader. Have an open mind to learn new ways of managing troops.
