Barrack were ok in 2001-2007. they were doing upgrade. It is positioned better than many Posts as it is close to many forms of activity. As far as the Post itself is will be what you make it. Work hard, learn be disciplined in your duties and you will see that you are a part of a Team! One of your responders laid out the rest very well, just Soldier on and it will be a great assignment! What I do know is this, if you as a 92G are not passionately in love with cooking you will not WILL NOT be happy with this MOS. I have been a cook most of my life even when I was a 13 series I love to cook to ensure what I serve the warriors of the unit I am attached with get the very best I can offer. They do not call it the Marne express for nothing so prepare yourself for that. The only perk is that there is a lot to do.
