Today I finished 17 online courses of mandatory training, attended 5 repetitive meetings, checked 122 emails, and complained about all of it. Yea, it was a productive 30 minutes. But it started thinking about when I was a private. There was 1 mandatory annual class (eo) and for exodus the chap spoke about auicide. I packed parachutes, raked gravel, swept sidewalks, and mopped a parking lot once. Same circus, different clowns and acts. What is the biggest thing you would change?

MSG (Join to see), I think the biggest thing I would change is training, and not just online training. I'd re-vamp the whole shebang, including professional development for all ranks. Or at least take a hard look at the training now in place to see if it could use a sprucing up.

I would create some kind of system that regulates the way a soldier should perform and outlines disciplinary action if they fail to do so. I heard once that the Army actually has something similar to this already in place, but they aren't so much rules as they are guidelines. Kinda like "the code" pirates lived by.
Anyone else heard of this? I think it has some acronym followed by some numbers???
