Knee Injury Prior to BCT Army Reserves. Should I ship? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/knee-injury-prior-to-bct-army-reserves-should-i-ship

I recently injured my knee and was told it was runners knee. I am to rest for a couple of weeks and use RICE method. I am to leave for BCT in two weeks. What will happen? Will I need to go to MEPS again? Or will I just sign a new contract and new unit? Will I need to redo the PiCat and Physical? Is there a way to delay my ship date a couple of months to ensure I’m 100% to go to BCT? But know your recruiter wants you to ship.
And any contracted info like MOS, bonus or anything else is most likely tied to your ship date. It could possibly follow you but ship dates coincide with MOS school dates and so on. Everything leans on something else. It's your call ultimately. It's the different between hurting your knee and seriously injuring your knee. I have no idea the severity of your issue.
