Leaflet tells Jews to register in East Ukraine

Rule of thumb: When your group is told to register with the government, you need to leave that country immediately. I cant believe this is happening in Europe in the 21st century. Insane.

History does tend to provide very nasty precedents for this. You hit the nail on the head Chief when you said it's time for a mass exodus. I was hoping the link source would turn out to be something illegitimate, but USA Today isn't The Onion.

From what I have read from multiple sources, including some Jewish sites is that no one seems to know who is responsible for it. Pro-Russians "confirm" they are not behind this and the Ukrainian government has been silent on this matter. I would find it hard to believe that either side would claim responsibility: If the Ukrainians were behind this, that would hurt their chances at receiving aid from many countries, and hurt their image at this juncture. If the Russians claimed responsibility, they would further isolate themselves from much of the Western world (NATO, etc.). I would not be surprised if there is a smaller group taking advantage of the unrest to promote their own politics. I did see an article that has the Russians blaming the Ukrainians for this. The Russians were saying the Ukrainians were trying to gain more support and bring more allies to their side.

Although this is a scary situation for those in the Ukraine, leaving the country will not solve anything.

Those that don't understand will be against this statement, but, the United States MUST step in before this gets too out of control.

Russian is a bully...remember the Georgia conflict in 2008? Russian used a cyber attack and then moved troops over the border.

This is chilling. I'm going to do more research on this but from what I've read so far, there are definitely far right elements on the Ukrainian side that seem to follow a neo Nazi MO.

Since reports are coming out that the Pro-Russians are not behind these leaflets I think the legitimatize of these leaflets need to be brought up for discussion. I think with what is unfolding in that part of the world, these leaflets are probably an attempt by one group to make another group look bad.

With the world's eyes looking very closely at everything that is going on over there, something like this will probably not be tolerated at all.

It seems like a hoax, probably by some one trying to shine a bad light on Russia. Either way I definitely can't see anyone taking responsibility for it even if it is real.
