Leaving T10 back to MDAY Status?

Do you need a separation medical exam to leave T10 back to MDAY Status? Also, what is the process besides command signing off on 4187?

Whether you need one or not, you should definitely get a medical exam before coming off title 10. If a problem is discovered later, it will be much harder to claim for treatment or disability.

Yes sir get an exam and tell them about every BO-BO you have it may not mean anything now but if you need to make a VA claim say 10 years from now you have it documented

An end of tour exam is less important than having the medical records from any incident that occurred on orders.

When I left orders over 6 months, I didn't have to do a medical out-processing (although I did do an SRP 3-4 weeks earlier.) I did have to go through the whole Soldier for Life TAP shenanigans, even though I was coming off Title 10 orders for Title 32 school orders.
