Hold business meeting at chosen restaurant/watering hole
2. Discuss business for 5 minutes
3. Get to drinking.
4. Claim the whole thing as a business expense and charge it to the company.

So mandatory fun it. No LoR required! IF approval is granted, you need to check monthly to ensure the seat/funds reservation are still current and valid, as these can be rescinded at a moments notice. Then, 10 days prior, you must submit your DTS voucher with ALL documents and receipts received prior the event even taking place. Then, once the DTS voucher is approved, you still must ensure that seats/funds are still available. Oh, I almost forgot. Make sure you have all orders on hand and you must stay in communications with your home station in case of emergencies. I recommend calling every hour to make sure you are still good to go. Grow a pair and just do it.
2. Tell a lie and hope you don't get caught. (i.e. sorry honey, squadron recall or the office called and have to get urgent paperwork to the CO.)
3. Wimp out and don't do it
4. Take them with you, after all, you need a designated driver.

Note: If you choose 1 or 2 be prepared to move in with the family dog or volunteer for another deployment.
