I’m in the process of enlisting in the army and one of the available jobs is 15T. Could any current blackhawk repairers describe how their job is and what their day to day schedule is like? Is it a good MOS to pick? I’ve also heard that 15T’s can become crew chiefs on helicopters. Is this true and how easy is it to become a crew chief?

Looking for details as far as how the job is and advancement is, military and civilian wise. Army life outside of the job, extracurriculars (big on basketball and combat sports), advice all the hoopla. Just some background, 24yo with kids, planning on getting married at my first duty station. Thanks. Anything will help.
