There is a need for veterans within the ranks of law enforcement. Depending on where you live, there are most likely openings for which you can apply and the best part, most have a veterans preference. <br /><br />Merely applying doesn't guarantee you will be hired and most agencies, especially in California, require at least two years of college. You will have to pass a background and possibly psychological evaluation and be in good shape. If you have experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or another technical field, this is a plus.<br /><br />I highly recommend this career field for it's challenges and opportunities.<br /><br />If anyone has a question, feel free to message me. I'll tell you the good, bad and just ugly parts of the job.
