If you are not a member, I encourage you to join USAA, the military's private banking, insurance, and financial planning organization. They may prove to have some sort of "fund" available to Vets in need of a loan. About that, I have no idea, but they would be my first place to check. Good luck, sir. I contacted a few churches for food donations and a couple of them inquired about Christmas present possibilities for my children. A couple of months later I was surprised by a gift package from one of the organizations with a ham, some side dishes and a few presents for each of my two daughters.

I suggest that you reach out to some of the local churches. Donate your time, if you feel that you must somehow "pay" for your charity. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 14 Dec 2015 21:12:17 -0500 2015-12-14T21:12:17-05:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 27 at 2015 9:59 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/looking-for-possible-financial-help-and-advice-while-waiting-for-va-disability-claim?n=1199612&urlhash=1199612

There are many local agencies that help veterans.
