You and the Soldier you swap with would have to agree to fund all travel yourselves. No PCS entitlements, no per diem, mileage pay, no rental truck reimbursement, you have to pay for the moving company if you use one, and no dislocation allowance - which alone is worth several thousand dollars.<br /><br />Maybe you&#39;re willing to come out of pocket to personally pay for a move, but I don&#39;t know any other E4s in the Army who would give up their travel pay AND come out of pocket to move themselves as well.
