I know this is an old thread, but I'm new here, and I thought I could still give you some advice. Your ideas for YouTube content still sound awesome, tbh. It's great that you want to focus on mentorship and development, as well as fun community-based content. As for your question about dividing the content, I think separate playlists could work well. That way, viewers can easily find the type of content they're looking for. The pros of separate channels are that they allow for a more focused audience and can help with branding. The cons are that it can be harder to manage multiple channels. Also, have you considered hiring a video editor to help with the production process? They can make sure your videos look polished and professional. If you're not sure what questions to ask in a video editor interview, check out this link https://vidpros.com/video-editor-interview-questions/ . It has some great tips. Overall, I think your YouTube channel(s) have a lot of potential. Keep us updated on how it's going.

The 14 Secret Habits of Successful Content Creators

Content creators often experience mental block or get stressed thinking and developing new content. You get to funnel all subscribers to one place, which can be beneficial for channel growth. However, it might be a little jarring for subscribers who signed up for one type of content to see something entirely different in their feed.
For your video editing needs, I'd recommend using some solid video editing software for PC https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/best-professional-video-editing-software.html . They offer great flexibility, which can be handy when you're producing different types of content.
Since your post is two years old, I'm curious—what route did you end up going? Would love to know how things panned out for you.

11 Best Professional Video Editing Software in 2023

Find the best professional video editing software for PC.
