Looking to put together a flight packet, however there are no pilots at my duty station to ask for LOR. How can i go about this?

So I’m at a pretty small post, no pilots here at all. The warrant recruiters stated you need LORs from warrants in your desired MOS so I’m not quite sure what to do.

Call around an aviation unit and ask to see if someone can help you. Also use your nco’s to help you network and find someone. Hope this helps

WO1 Private RallyPoint Member there is an ADAM cell at Brigade S3 in the HQ that should have an Aviation Warrant there as an Air Planner. I would also see if there is one at SETAF and see if there is an Aviation Warrant working in the G3. They should have a G3 Aviation cell of one flavor or another.

Who is at Camp Darby?

You could call 12CAB in Ansbach and see what you can work out.

Ok, the CG has an assigned chopper. There are a couple of pilots on the installation. Ask you CSM to set up a meeting often. The birds may not reside on the main base but they are there. Thank you for your service.

If I were in your shoes I would search for an Aviation unit and reach out to a couple of their pilots. It takes a W3 to write your letter for you. With that being said you will write your letter and send it to that Warrant. I am in a CAB unit and work by pilots all day long. Send me an message on here and I will try and get you in touch with one of them.
