Hawkeye

Favorite episode the dreams of home. Hawk is in surgery and has a nightmare of not being able to help by giving his arms. He ends up in a canoe with oars a lake full of limbs

Obviously most will say Hawkeye which is one of my favorites, but I enjoyed Dr. Sydney Freedman. My favorite episode is Dear Sigmond.

Oh that's a tough one. I loved them all. The one that I always found hilarious was the one where they have to account for the mess trays and they keep doing the "in one door out the other" to insure the count is right.

Favorite character? Hard choice between Hawkeye, Radar, or BJ.

My favorite episode was the one where Radar went home. He finally realized that they would make it without him & that he could move on w/ his life...a problem, I think, many have when they leave their (enter branch specific term).

Hawkeye is a sure favorite, but my vote goes for Colonel Potter. Anyone who could command a group of seeming misfits and be able to recognize the work that they accomplished regardless of their idiosyncrasies is aces in my book.

One of my favorite episodes is No Sweat. Season 9, Episode 11

The 4077th deals with a sudden heat wave in their own personal ways: Klinger disassembles the P.A. system, Charles goes through all of his tax returns and bonds, B.J. stresses over a letter from Peg, Margaret develops a severe case of prickly heat, and Colonel Potter can't get a good night's sleep.

Really didn't have a favorite character. they all made laugh my ass off. you Loved to Hate Burns, Margaret was a B&$%H, Clinger was hilarious, Radar was just AWESOME, hawkeye was the show. Hunnicut was great. The guy before Honnicut was freaking hilarious. col potter was the best CO and Blake was a push over!

Far a favorite episode, ALL.

I liked Col Potter..(RIP Harry) and Winchester. Hard to pick a favorite one. I do like the first one where Col Potter takes command.

Hawkeye, for sure... COL Potter follows...

Favorite episode: When Radar walks into the ER to announce Henry Blake's helicopter had been shot down while he was en route home-sweet-home. ((Gets me EVERY time!!)) :'(

Lighter side: when they tried to get Adam's Ribs shipped in for a treat.

About once every year or two, I re-watch the series. Now that it is all on Netflix, it makes it easier. I'm not sure I have a favorite character as I see a little of myself in most of them.

One of the greatest TV shows ever! It is hard to pick a favorite character, but I like Winchester. He could sometimes even get the best of BJ and Hawkeye - a good one liner, a jab or joke - something Ferret Face (Burns) was never able to do...he was always on the receiving end.

One episode that I found touching (though many are!) was Season 11 Episode 9 - Run For the Money.

Winchester, who is normally too aloof to involve himself personally with anyone, befriends a patient who stutters...and at the end of of the episode we find him listening to a recorded message from his sister, Anoria, who stutters. Thus we get a quick glimpse into the protective and loving side of his personality that he almost never shows.

Side note, I had the privilege of meeting Jamie Farr (Klinger) about 20 years ago at the Jimmy V Golf Classic! Very classy and humble guy, a genuinely nice man.

My favorite TV series! My favorite character is a tough one, Radar, Sydney Freedman, Col Potter and Klinger, some of the crap he came up with was hilarious. My favorite episode was the last one, I was stationed in Kunsan AB, ROK at the time, and they broadcast the episode via satellite and commercial free to US Military units in Korea. We stayed up most of the night to watch it.

LOVED that show!!! And the movie. Favorites were Hawkeye, BJ and Potter.
Favorite episode was the last ever.
I too met Jamie Farr along with William Christopher (Fat her Mulchaey) at a play "TThe Odd Couple" several years ago, great people.

Definitely Frank Burns for favorite character, we all know "that" Major. Favorite episode was the fabrication of Captain Tuttle, the eulogy at the end was priceless!

Like them all except the the Majors, if there was a Major in that show I did not care for them.

Favorite Episode? The Army-Navy game one... ooo and then there was the one where the gang mad Col Blake drunk on purpose... and the one where Col Potter put the jeep down.... and and...

If I have to choose a favorite, Colonel Potter. He had a sense of humor but knew when it was time to be serious. Favorite episode, well I have multiple. The one with Henry leaving and the one or two that followed with Potter's arrival were some. The General Flipped at Dawn is also a great one.
