Not once have I said, "hold my beer". You can't trust a grunt with it. Jokes aside, his view on selection is strange. You have tubby grunts, scrawny grunts and everything in between. The thing is that they are grunts. The met and maintain the requirements to keep that MOS. If the women can't meet those necessities,so be it. Many males don't make it and no one says it's a conspiracy. It's blasphemous that the SecNav would even open his suck about it. The Corps did some prac-app and came away with results. They didn't run a computer simulation or have a PowerPoint deployment, they used humans. If he had concerns,he should've to them to stand down but he figured it would work and validate his agenda. It didn't and the Marines gave him the facts, facts he didn't like so now his knickers are twisted.

Some of his comments in this article show him to be a fucknut. That's fine. Most of the senior leadership is. At the end of the day, it's not going to matter. Using entirely contrived numbers, the reality will look something like this: 10 in 100 women will want to try for 'normal' (read: not SF) combat positions. 5 of them will be capable of the standards as they currently are. Of those 5, only 3 WILL EVEN WANT TO TRY - this is key. Of those 3, maybe 2 complete the training and actually become an infantryman/whatever. And those two SHOULD be there, because they could. The numbers will be much more inflated for SF's. 10 in 10000 will want to try. Half of those will fail screening. Of the 5 that could, 2 won't want to....
You get the picture. So this fabled deluge of female infantrymen/SEALs/Rangers etc is never going to happen. There will be females in these positions. But they will be rare...and exceptional.

MAJ (Join to see)
Looking to be a Joint Chiefs or something. gotta play the political game. For a SEAL I am surprised at his lack of telling it how it is.
