PV2 Private RallyPoint Member 7815257 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Wife is on orders to Drill Sergeant School in Feb, then on orders to FT Sill immediately after.. we got married in March of this year, different units, same division! Was wondering if she already got orders, and we didn’t enroll into MACP before she got her orders… will I still be able to placed on orders to follow her? We are of different ranks and different MOS’s, but both of our MOS’s are practically needed at every post.. do I need to call Branch? Are there exceptions? Do we need a waiver? Please help! I do not want this to break our marriage away.. I’m going to talk to retention when I get back. I’m currently at JRTC before the box right now, she’s back in post. Is there any hope? Please guide me through steps, willing to give more info if needed. TIA!! How will enrolling into the MACP, after my spouse already had her orders, impact my ability to follow her? 2022-08-09T12:32:42-04:00 PV2 Private RallyPoint Member 7815257 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Wife is on orders to Drill Sergeant School in Feb, then on orders to FT Sill immediately after.. we got married in March of this year, different units, same division! Yea......don&#39;t expect to be following her. Even if you call Branch, there is no guarantee. Hell, even if you were in MACP, there is no real guarantee. <br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.army.mil/article/253911/married_army_couples_program_eases_work_life_balance">https://www.army.mil/article/253911/married_army_couples_program_eases_work_life_balance</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.army.mil/article/253911/married_army_couples_program_eases_work_life_balance">Married Army Couples Program eases work-life balance</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">In the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, popular culture includes various depictions of the mythological Cupid, the god of affection, ready to play ma...</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 9 at 2022 1:14 PM 2022-08-09T13:14:11-04:00 2022-08-09T13:14:11-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 7815423 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can PCS when you&#39;re eligible to go, usually two years on station, you&#39;ll probably have to reenlist as part of it. Even if you were enrolled in MACP at the time it wouldn&#39;t have stopped her from being levied for DS duty, and it wouldn&#39;t have guaranteed you would have followed her either.<br /><br />Make sure you get enrolled in MACP.
