Man Wanted For Trying To Rob 95-Year-Old WWII Vet Surrenders

Arthur Kamberis, 95, was leaving the Walgreen’s on Valley Street in Manchester May 2 when a man tried to grab his wallet several times. But Kamberis hit him “three or four times” with his cane. When a driver stopped to help, the man ran off.

The man wanted for trying to rob an elderly World War II veteran in New Hampshire has turned himself in, police said.

Ha, ha. David Farnsworth got old by a 95 year old. I don't think Mr. Farnsworth is going to be able to sit after his time in jail if he cannot get the wallet from someone who is almost a centenarian. The fact that it is veteran is just gravy for this story.
