to be an agent, you have to have that bachelor's degree.

NCIS has non-agent billets that you might be eligible for. But if you want to be an agent, unless you already have law enforcement experience, you certainly won't be competitive. Pretty sure the requirements for Federal law enforcement is college degree- seriously doubt it has a waiver. Ask them.

There's no magic pill. Look at the Grade/Series requirements and the prerequisites. Not meeting a prerequisite is an instant reject button. Prior MIL service isn't a Pass Go card.
