All I know is that, when he adopted me, he had E-5 rank on his collar, a 201 file with orders, and a serious urinary tract infection. We managed to find a veterinarian who could take care of that. He then took up residence under my bunk, and it was clear that I had water and food duty.<br /><br />Legend has it that he originally went to Koala School AIT, but somehow got mis-assigned as a dog on the wrong continent. Then again, lots of us felt that way in some sense. There were a couple bitches that took up residence when some of the Soldiers started informally adopting them, even had some puppies. Then one of the 1SGs decided to start enforcing regs...<br />Some not so happy campers by the time he started cleaning his 9mm.
