But... My experience is that in situations where it is unsafe to wear a ring, that a dog tag chain is not something to depend upon. The Dog tags are flat and unlikely to catch. I got a locking D ring caribiner and put my my keys and wedding ring on it. Just put it in my pocket. <br /><br />Most of the time we didn’t wear the tags around our neck, rather looped around our belt loop nearest our pocket and run into our pocket as a matter of unit SOP.
