I did notice that military hospitals, at least Army hospitals, are tobacco free.

I was on vacation to Hawaii 2 months ago and ended up in Tripler AMC for 2 1/2 days and noticed the "No tobacco usage" signs all over the place.

I don't smoke so I wasn't overly concerned. I do dip though, and trust me I was dipping in my hospital bed! :) PO1 John Miller Thu, 11 Jun 2015 00:14:09 -0400 2015-06-11T00:14:09-04:00 Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 11 at 2015 1:31 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/medics-no-smoking-did-i-read-this-correctly?n=740319&urlhash=740319

I guess it's big Army's way of making us practice what we preach or change jobs. Like a dentist that doesn't floss or who has a fat dip in his lip.

I just saw an episode of the old show Emergency and the docs were smoking in the hospital. It caught my eye real quick. I guess I don't expect to see it. Now that I think about it, the nutritionists are all skinny too....
