Some people can eat Mcdonalds three times a day and their metabolism will take care of it. Other can eat there once a month and struggle for a month to get that weight off. They know to stay away from it. Second, I think its America not the fast food on post. You can buy a value meal much cheaper than a healthy salad. I can buy a bag of chips cheaper than a banana and a water. I understand that the average PVT Snuffy wants his cheeseburger and it's a personal decision, but there is a hypocrisy in saying we need to be healthy and then allowing Taco Bell, Burger King, etc.. on post instead of healthier options. There is also the argument that those restaurants serve not only the Soldiers but the civilians and family members who are not held to the same health standards as Soldiers. <br />I do agree, healthy food should be more accessible (and cheaper!) than the junk food that is available.
