If I did a meps to meps and the new meps has my documents, the same day they were sent off my waiver for a physical got approved is there any way for the new meps doctor to get those notes to speed up the process, if not do you recommend me going back to first meps and keep pushing through there?
PS I contacted my congressman and that how I was able to get help after almost a year wait! For those who I might be useful to.

SPC Jeffrey Tamayo Now that you have involved your Congressman, use him/her to your advantage. Someone may have said, "F&*# it," when you kept pushing. Doing so now, will continue to piss them off. However, you have used your "trump" (or Ace of Spades) card by using your Congressman (continue to use them). I can tell you that, if you're entering the same service, the new MEPS will have all of the old MEPS' information (one IT system), so they probably already have it. It is up to you on what you would like to do.

SGT Javier Silva thanks Sgt for the heads up, my recruiter encouraged me to contact him and also do the transfer since it’s been so long, so hopefully if the approved waiver was sent to the new meps as well! Thanks again

I need a little more context to answer the question. As I read it, you have an approved waiver? So you did a meps to meps after the waiver was approved?

So, a waiver is actually submitted after the physical and any consults are completed. So if you are approved to go take a physical then it’s an approved med read, not an approved waiver. Doing a meps to meps may affect this process as the new CMO (Chief Medical Officer) will likely need to review all medical documentation before you can complete a physical.

It would honestly depend on a lot of different things. What meps you moved it to, what the medical is, what all they have done etc. Odds are that if you had an approved med read before then you will get approved again but may take a while. For instance, a high volume MEPS like Tampa or Dallas may be much faster than a smaller one. Thanks csm, it was recommended by my first recruiter and station commander because the NYC meps is super backed up. I had a feeling that would happen but at least I know it’ll get approved.
