Might be heading to FT Benning mid next year. I am definitely unsure about it, needing some pros and cons, where to live, how you liked it.

If on in Georgia Stay north of Macon. Even better to be out in Harris county. Alabama property taxes are way lower than GA in case you're thinking about buying. within the city limits of Columbus, it kinda sucks but ft Benning is def a hidden gem opportunity wise.

I enjoyed my stay there when I wasn't deployed lol, but nice area and location.

You should look in Alabama. You didn't mention if you had kids or not. Some places are better for the school systems.

I would assume they are younger.Phenix City school system is a good school system. A lot of military and retirees also live in Lee County which is a great area to live and they have a great school system.
