The issue for guys like medics, though, is that their scope of practice in the military often exceeds what their certifications would allow in the civilian world. All the officer medical stuff has civilian counter parts...to the degree that I must carry a current State Board of Nursing License (while I practice on a military installation, it can be from any state...if I moonlight, must have license from the state that I am in). I believe that Docs and other providers are the same way. Response by Maj Chris Nelson made Sep 9 at 2014 11:24 AM 2014-09-09T11:24:54-04:00 2014-09-09T11:24:54-04:00 2014-09-09T10:03:54-04:00
