Military written counseling for teenagers? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/military-written-counseling-for-teenagers <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I am looking at implementing a military style written counseling system for my 15 year old son. Initial counseling, monthly counselings etc. It would be a clear concise expression of what is expected, acceptable, and unacceptable as well as ways for improvement and goal setting. Has anyone else ever toyed with this idea? I tried it out and it worked fairly well. Standards were set - in writing - and signed by both parents and child. Then when standards were not met, there was no need to argue about it or raise a fuss ... just pull out the written standards and go from there. I like it. But if that&#39;s what you want to do, if you think it will work, I mean, its a very useful tool for educating, I just wouldn&#39;t do it.
