SFC Sable and SGT Morrison, took honor platoon, both me and another trroop from our platoon took high PT awards, he took first and last, I took mid. I was 19 and was on my way to becoming just another screw up when I enlisted. The Army had helped me learn a lot as a young guy. Just wish I had that just finished BCT agility. Been 39 years since I was there. Most of my boot camp/bct is condensed into a few memories, like leaving the gas chamber and running over a 2lt who was standing in the doorway when they told us we could get out. He was going to wheeled vehicle mechanic school after basic. He walked 17km of return graduation march with a shattered ankle and said nothing. He even put my hand on his shouldered and helped me up the last hill. Especially Misery. I was at Ft. Knox from 2010 to 2013. I recall doing PT on Misery. Easy going down, but a hassle in coming back up. I was "embracing the suck" that day. When I left in 2013, ROTC took over the those barracks that were close to the COFs and A through E companies got disbanded in 2014 I belive. I was in Bravo Company.
