Most unique bar you've ever been in? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/most-unique-bar-you-ve-ever-been-in

OK, this is my first post here after a few responses.

1st LT Rosa's question on most unique place go me thinking. Having blown through a pile of blue, brown, and some black passports, there have been a lot of bar visits out there. The dives you don't stay at very long. The nice ones with friends get revisited. Then there others that defy explanation.

My offering for this is "The Heart of Darkness" in Phnom Penh. Best place to people watch all the NGO/PVO types, RCAF generals who were also drug lords, and laugh at the Dumb A's who try to fit in. Actually the left half of the bar was for drinking. The other half was loaded with sofas for relaxing with the chemical of your choice. It has apparently become more respectable and touristy these days, with overcrowding and loud music.

So what, where, and why it will never be forgotten. The last one I went to was a while ago at RPX. It did have dueling pianos, (Rum Runners). I may have a little something when I get back into NC. Maybe some may care to join me to wet their whistle at such a place. Found the only SOFA Bar in Taejon. Huge Korean night club, was free for me to get in, Koreans had to pay $50 at the door, but they got two Combat Bottles of OB, and a Tray of Fruits and Nuts. Entertainment was more than just dancing, they had a comedian, Burlesque style strip show, and a DJ. The Burlesque dancers were from England, and Australia, they wanted myself and my friend to come back to their rooms after the show to say the least. Was a pretty awesome experience. Apparently drunken female customers will donate their bras to add to the display. LTC Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 14 Mar 2016 15:40:02 -0400 2016-03-14T15:40:02-04:00 2015-04-05T17:08:53-04:00
