My overall goal is to go active duty warrant for flight school but I'm not sure how or if it's possible to go from guard to active for WOCS. I already have my flight physical and SIFT done, I just have to finish the rest of my packet and get LOR'S. Thank you guys for your help! I’ve seen plenty of people do it. When you fill out your packet you will have to put on there that you want to go active. Now, it’s my understanding that the Guard is usually reluctant to release Guardsmen because they don’t want the attrition. It’s not impossible, just usually difficult.
