National Guard Off-Duty Customs & Courtesies? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/national-guard-off-duty-customs-courtesies <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Transitioned from AD Marine Corps to the National Guard a couple years ago and still trying to figure some stuff out. Let&#39;s say you&#39;re off-duty (not on orders) and one of your superiors is hitting you up talking like a douche, pulling rank, and trying to order you to do something. Can you tell them to go kick rocks and not get hemmed up for it? Be professional, remind them you are not in a duty status. Walk softy , don&#39;t burn bridges. You might want to take a wait and see approach before you tell someone to go F themselves and then you have to ask them for a favor like constructive Drill credit or excusal from an AT because your civilian job is intractable about that particular week of your life. Just saying it&#39;s a two way street. LTC Jason Mackay Sat, 11 Jul 2020 21:40:40 -0400 2020-07-11T21:40:40-04:00 2020-07-11T16:10:00-04:00
