One day we had a Guard guy pulling forecast duty and he was telling me that they had the better observers.

This is guy had a Phd in Germany and we got along fine. I said to him, "if that is true, why is your aneroid barometer 29.42 and but the tele-autowriter showed 29.92?

He was like 'Oh Sh*t!! Then cussing out his Observer! Hahaha. I was the best observer in that unit and he conceded that point to me.

Have you ever had this kind of thing happen to you? National Guard vs Active Duty Troops. 2014-09-06T00:36:30-04:00 SSgt Private RallyPoint Member 229885

I myself had a lot of respect from Guard and Reserve people at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. I was not there but the Guard/Reserves beat down the Regular Army in cyber warfare. I haven't dealt with this much as I haven't dealt with any active duty infantry unit while being in the guard.
