Navy ship date?

My navy recruiter said he can ship me out to Boot Camp sooner than my ship date which is six months away by replacing somebody is this accurate ? He said this happens a lot

Never heard of that. If you signed your contract that is what you’re set for.

Yes, they can. Someone that currently wants to ship can be replaced for someone who is hesitant in shipping out.

Yes he can offer that and if you don't have anything else going on why not take it? You would get out of the Navy six months early. Who knows, you might like it.
