NCO/Enlisted Club?

1. Is there any regulation that states anything about enlisted/NCO clubs.

2. If allowed to is there a way to create/start a enlisted/NCO club.

The questions above are in reference to something I think that my duty station is missing. All the NCO's in my brigade(don't really meet any that are not in my BDE) aren't always on the same page. There is little to no NCOPD where i am currently, and would like to meet and get with other NCOs to discuss issues that are currently plaguing the army/brigade/battalion etc..., do NCOPD in a relaxed environment so new NCO's like myself can ask questions in a relaxed environment to help better educate and bring the NCO corp together across the post.

I have always seen Enlisted Clubs on all the bases I have been stationed at as central meeting areas for socializing. Getting away from work to have some chow and drinks with NCOs and not talk shop, but to relax. NCOPD is VERY important, for fresh cut NCOs as well as seasoned. New issues, regulations, training are always coming down the pipe and they need to be discussed among our peers. I would talk to the 1SG about NCOPD, that is something that he should be stressing is accomplished once a month.

They were everywhere into the early 1990's but with the spotlight on DUI's and other alcohol-related incidents, they wen't the way of the dodo.

If you are on a Air Force base the answer is yes. There is regulations on Clubs. It falls under services Squ on each base. I was there back in early 2000s the Enlisted club the was the Kashim over by base movie theater.

I know on Yokota they have an enlisted club for nco's. i dont have the poc but you can probably do an interenet search for basic info, to help get you start. I hope you achieve your goal, good luck.
