I went to Seattle, WA Reg. Office and walked into the DAV. The VSAO asked me about what claim I was filing and named a handful. His response, "the only ones you can claim on are an increase in Type 1 Diabetes (already service-connected) and Major Depressive Disorder." I found someone on another veteran forum who I've given access to my medical records and she has found 23 claims located in my veteran and AD military records. To my knowledge she is not a VSO or a claims agent but was given training during a military contract as a nurse case manager.

Nearly all of the groundwork has been laid for my claims. What further help would a VSO or claim agent be at this point and/or is it critical to obtain someone different than I already have with DAV?
