With the 2014-2015 Regular Season coming to an end, the race in both the East and the West is tight. What predictions for the Playoffs do you have? Who is going to win the Presidents Trophy? Which Teams will make the Wildcard spots? Who do you think is going to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup?

Central is looking tight with Anaheim - St Louis one point apart and Minnesota in the wildcard hunt. St Louis is strong this year and could make a solid run for Lord Stanley's Cup!

Shattenkirk, Tarasenko, Ott, T.J. Oshie and Allen or Elliot between the pipes... Its time

In my completely bias opinion, the Bruins are taking it all haha.

Realistically, the Ducks are force (again) this year and I think they will win the Pres Trophy and make it past the Blues. The Blues look good again this year, but how did looking good in March work out for them last year!

The east is a tough one because my blindness to the faults of my Bruins is second only to my hatred of Montreal... that said, I am going to go with the Red Wings representing the east.

The New York Islanders, it has been a long time and they are a young and fun team to watch. It would be nice to see them hoist the cup and then raise the banner in the new arena.

Pretty sure the Wings will make the playoffs as usual, but I will be pleasantly surprised if they win the cup.

I was celebrating after their last win in '08, but it was kinda anticlimactic as it was not at the Joe and as such there was little crowd involvement after the final horn.

I think teams that were almost out of contention, the Kings come to mind, are back in contention. Montreal's looking strong; so's Tampa. Don't overlook the Sharks or the Bruins.

Detroit's always tough, but these last few weeks have been a little rough. I feel bad for teams like Buffalo and Edmonton not to mention the Leafs, but this is a dog-eat-dog business, much like military service.

I would like to see the Wild and Penguins play for the cup, with the Wild winning it in six games. Is it realistic? Probably not.

Predictions!

1. President's Trophy: Anaheim Ducks. Because I desperately want them to lose it they're going to get it.

2. Eastern Conference: This is mostly locked in but I predict the Senators make the 8 seed! Boston does not make it to the playoffs! (Le gasp!) Caps take 7th seed. Divisions remain the same: Habs, Bolts, Wings & Rags, Isles, Pens.

3. Western Conference: Central Division dominates the wild card with the Wild and Jets at 7 & 8. In the Central proper The Blues stave off the Preds for 1st seed with Preds in #2 and the Blackhawks in 3rd. In The Pacific will be President's Trophy Anaheim (GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!) The Vancouver Canucks at #2 and in #3 The L.A. Kings when the Calgary Flames finally burn out on their defiance of statistics and overreaching luck (they are last year's Colorado Avalanche all over again).

4. Who takes the Cup? The L.A. Kings over the New York Islanders to complete their sweep of the New York Metropolitan area in the Stanley Cup Final.

I am glad to see all the NHL Fans coming out here! There are only about 10 games left per team, and the playoff picture is looking more and more set.
